It all began back in 2010 when fate brought me and Alyssa together through a mutual friend. I still remember the first message she sent me on Facebook: “You’re cute.” Little did I know, that simple, casual message would set the stage for a love story that has now spanned over 14 years.

From that day on, we started talking every day. What began as casual conversations soon turned into deep discussions about our lives, our dreams, and everything in between. Every day, we grew closer, and as time went on, I realized how much I valued her not just as a partner, but as my best friend.

Alyssa has always been my rock. No matter what we went through, no matter the struggles we faced, she never gave up on me. She always believed in us—believed in me—and never left my side. Her unwavering faith in us has been the foundation of our relationship.

When we first met, Alyssa had a beautiful daughter, Mia, who was turning one. From the moment I met her, I knew there was something special about this little girl. We formed a bond of trust and friendship that only grew stronger with time. Not long after, I introduced Alyssa to my daughter, Mikaylah, who was smart, funny like her dad and I’ll never forget how easy it was for our little family to come together.

In 2016, our family grew even more when Alyssa and I welcomed our son, Zayden into this world. That year changed everything. Watching Alyssa go through her pregnancy and knowing I was about to become a father again pushed me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. It motivated me to do better, to work harder, and to be the man our family deserved. During that time, Alyssa was there every step of the way, supporting me, cheering me on, and always reminding me that I could do anything I set my mind to.

That same year, I joined the Police Academy, and while the six months of intense training was rough, I pushed through—not just for me, but for us. I wanted to be the best version of myself, not just for Alyssa and the kids, but for the future we were building together.

After that, life kept moving forward. We moved into our first apartment together, a place where we began truly building our life. We celebrated the small victories, navigated the challenges, and created a home filled with love. Eventually, we bought our house—a place we could truly call our own, where we could raise our family and continue our journey.

Fast forward to today, 14 years later. After all we’ve been through—ups, downs, struggles, and humps—I knew the time had come to take the next big step. In front of hundreds of people at Epcot in Disney World, I asked Alyssa to be my wife. Surrounded by family, both in person and through FaceTime, I asked the woman who had been my partner, my support, and my best friend for so many years to spend forever with me. And she said yes!!

As we look ahead to September 2025, we are excited to officially become husband and wife. Alyssa will take my last name, and together, we will continue to write the beautiful story of our love.

Through every challenge, every high and low, we have grown stronger. Our love has weathered the storms, and now, as we embark on this next chapter, we know the best is yet to come. We are grateful for every moment we’ve shared, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
